Logistic park’s location and sustainability lures pallet firm.
Roe Highway Logistics Park (RHLP) proponents are cheering the move that sees pallets giant Chep become the latest tenant.
The 56 ha industrial park launched in February this year is located adjacent to the state government’s Kenwick Rail Freight Facility, offering Category RAV 7 Network (prime mover and trailer configuration) accessibility from both Roe and Tonkin Highways.
Chep will occupy a 4 ha lot, with a custom-designed 9,000 square metre facility, set for completion mid-next year.
Chep Australia regional operations manager Phil Darbyshire says that relocating to RHLP will allow it to centralise its Western Australian operations, “providing a better experience for local customers through new state of the art facilities in a convenient location. In close proximity to Perth Airport and with access to key road networks, the Roe Highway Logistics Park is in a prime location that will enable efficiencies for our customers.”

Linc Property’s Judd Dyer says securing Chep as a major tenant reflected the growing demand for new premium industrial estates in central locations.

Other confirmed tenants and businesses include Northline, Brady, K Trans WA, Expro, BP, Silk Contract Logistics, Joest, Dynapumps and Fuwa K Hitch.
With more than half the site already committed, the final stage of civil and landscaping works for Roe Highway Logistics Park is underway and expected to be complete by the end of the year.
