Mainfreight – 696 Ingham Road

• Gibb Group sourced and acquired 696 Ingham Rd, Townsville for $3.3million in September 2014.
• The site at that point in time had a renewable lease to Komatsu and a monthly undocumented tenancy to Mainfreight Limited with a vacant parcel of land sitting between the two existing buildings.
• Mainfreight were in the local market looking for a new facility and Gibb Group identified the opportunity to reposition their existing warehouse through its creative redevelopment.
• Close attention to the customers needs resulted in a design which not only catered for Mainfreight’s immediate requirements but also has allowed for additional future expansion not previously thought possible by the tenant.
• The Mainfreight redevelopment included a warehouse extension, expanded pavements, new refurbished offices and amenities, and the decommissioning of an existing wash bay.
