  1. In March 2012, Matt Gibb of Gibb Group had the vision to rebrand and reposition a warehouse and land subdivision on Woolcock Street and transform it into a major complex for business and industry in Townsville.

“It took six months from settlement to sort through local planning issues,” said Matt who spent over $1 million on capital improvements and rebranding.

“Approval and construction of the access road from the Bruce Highway took a further 12 months to complete and costs around $2.5 million.”

It proved to be money well spent, not only as an investment in 547 Industry park, but an investment in Townsville’s business sector.

In total, Matt and his team at Gibb Group have sold over $2.5 million of vacant industrial land, sold and leased over 14,500sqm of industrial warehouse area, and sold over $16.5 million in industrial warehouses, making 547 Industry Park one of Townsville’s greatest success stories in recent years, generating employment and helping to boost our city’s economy.

“We are confident that the great location, functional design and modern looks would create a solid repeat interest,” said Matt.  “We knew a streamlined marketing strategy combined with competitive sale and lease rates would attract both well-known local and international businesses and create strong investor interest.”

Today, 547 Industry Park stands as a benchmark in commercial and industrial development in Townsville.
