Matthew Gibb

Matthew has over 25 years’ experience in industrial and commercial property, returning from Japan in 2009, where he was responsible for Goodman Limited’s Japan operations.

During his 8 years with Goodman, Matthew established the group’s strong presence in Melbourne and led the business into the Adelaide and Perth markets, before working more broadly across a number of Asian markets. Prior to Goodman, Matthew was with international property consultant Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Adelaide, Melbourne and the United Kingdom for over 7 years.

As founder and CEO, Matthew is responsible for setting and advancing Gibb Group’s overall strategic direction including overseeing the company’s business development, operations, acquisitions and fund management platform.

Matthew is committed to achieving exceptional outcomes for all stakeholders, providing opportunities for growth and development for Gibb Group’s employees and protecting and furthering the interests of its investors.

Michael Xanthis

Michael is a Chartered Accountant with 20 years’ experience in accounting and finance.

Michael spent the majority of his career with Ernst and Young in a senior leadership position, providing tax and business advisory services to privately held businesses. Before joining Gibb Group, Michael was CEO of a family office with a large real estate asset portfolio.

As Chief Financial Officer, Michael is responsible for Gibb Group’s overall financial management, tax and statutory reporting.

Matthew Thiselton

Matthew has over 23 years’ experience delivering high-quality client outcomes within the private sector and capital works projects for some of Australia’s largest companies, including Woolworths Limited and Westfield Limited (now Scentre Group).

Matthew joined Gibb Group in 2013 and has since delivered key commercial and industrial projects for the business across Australia for Toll, Mainfreight, Northline, Iron Mountain, CH2, CHEP, RDO, Fenner Dunlop, and Arnott’s.

He now supports the Chief Executive Officer and leads the business’ growth in Victoria and New South Wales.

Byron has over 15 years of experience working in institutional real estate across funds management, investment management and capital transactions. Prior to joining the Gibb Group, he was responsible for Real Estate Separate Accounts at AMP Capital, leading a team of investment professionals managing diversified real estate strategies valued at ~$10bn across a range of structures on behalf of domestic and offshore capital partners. Byron has a strong track record for the development and execution of investment strategies across the risk spectrum that have delivered strategic and financial outperformance.

With over 15 years of experience in the Australian and New Zealand real estate markets, Ric has demonstrated expertise in corporate and direct real estate transactions, investment management, and funds management. His successful track record spans a diverse range of projects, working collaboratively with a wide variety of investors, resulting in transactions exceeding $9bn across logistics and industrial, retail, and office sectors.

Prior to joining Gibb Group, Ric played a pivotal role in shaping and executing the transactions strategy as a key member of the senior leadership team for LOGOS’ Australian and New Zealand operations.

Lisa Riddex

As a career property professional with in excess of 15 years’ experience in the industry, Lisa has worked for large corporate and institutional property companies, including Goodman, AMP and CBRE. She has worked directly with industrial and commercial property funds, private clients and tenants, and built up to leading large asset management teams, providing comprehensive professional services to manage a $2 billion property portfolio.

At Gibb Group, Lisa is responsible for all operational aspects associated with running the asset management department, growing the assets under management, overseeing all aspects of financial performance, refurbishment and repositioning of assets, and assisting clients with disposal and acquisition of assets. She shares this responsibility for leadership and management with another Director, with whom she has previously worked.

Davina is an experienced general counsel having held in-house legal roles across property finance, development, funds and asset management for over 18 years. Prior to joining Gibb Group, Davina was General Counsel at Revantage, a Blackstone portfolio company that provides corporate services support to Blackstone’s real estate portfolio in Australia and New Zealand, and Group Executive – Head of Legal at 151 Property, Blackstone’s real estate portfolio company in Australia and New Zealand.

As Chief Corporate Officer and General Counsel, Davina is responsible for the Group’s legal, company secretarial, compliance, risk management, internal audit, insurance, health & safety, people and communications functions.

Rebecca has over 16 years’ experience in administration and operations. Rebecca’s previous roles as corporate paralegal with boutique and top tier firms in both Australia and Canada, allow her to bring a strong compliance focus to her role at Gibb Group.

As Gibb Group’s Business Operations Manager, Rebecca is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business, corporate services, regulatory compliance and licencing.

Jason Dan

Jason is a Chartered Accountant with over 12 years’ experience, spanning the financial services and property sectors.

Prior to joining Gibb Group, Jason was an Investment Manager with Newmark Capital Limited, looking after a portfolio of commercial property funds. He also led the financial due diligence on over $300 million of property acquisitions and numerous retail and mixed use development schemes. Jason started out his property career at Vicinity Centres as a Senior Fund Analyst, responsible for strategic property and fund level modelling for the listed entity comprising a portfolio of over 90 retail assets.

As a Senior Investment Manager with Gibb Group, Jason is responsible for research, feasibility and project financing analysis.

Nick joined Gibb Group in 2022, primarily focusing on the delivery of developments in New South Wales, whilst supporting the acquisition and asset management teams.

Nick is a highly experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager, with a diverse background in the construction industry specialising in due diligence, design management, value engineering, construction management, automation, and manufacturing integration.

Having delivered various projects throughout Sydney for reputable tenants, developers and builders, Nick is quick to build strong relationships with clients, consultants, authorities and builders, and effectively deliver tangible results while unlocking value throughout the various phases of the development lifecycle.

Trent has over 30 years of experience in all property sectors and all aspects of the property development cycle from due diligence and acquisitions, through to planning and developments, and completions, stabilisation, enhancements, and repositioning.

Trent joined Gibb Group in 2024 and supports the National Development Director to lead growth in New South Wales, with a particular focus on the Western Sydney Aerotropolis Precinct.

Gavin has over 15 years of experience managing a range of projects across multiple sectors. With a background in large-scale construction delivery, he has a proven track record of successfully leading large teams from feasibility through to project completion, working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver strong results and form long standing relationships.

Prior to joining Gibb Group, Gavin worked for Richard Crookes Constructions and was responsible for managing developments across the industrial, commercial, residential, health and defence sectors.

Prior to joining the Gibb Group team, Michael was a senior accountant at a large Australian IT services corporation. This role saw Michael deliver high-quality reports and analysis to a diverse range of internal stakeholders.

Michael also has experience in the commercial real estate industry, providing financial support to the local executive team at one of the largest real estate corporations globally.

Michael studied a Bachelor of Commerce and is a qualified accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Prior to joining Gibb Group, Jason was a Project Analyst at RACV, leading financial due diligence and developing property solutions for clients across the portfolio of hotel, industrial and commercial assets. In his role, he had experience in stakeholder management, with a focus on the end-to-end project lifecycle.

Jason has been involved in project governance and managed a pipeline of capital projects and asset management activities in collaboration with senior leadership. He has delivered process and system solutions to improve the active management of the broad portfolio.

As an Analyst at Gibb Group, Jason is responsible for research, feasibility and project financing.

Donald Tse

Donald is a Certified Practising Valuer with over 9 years’ experience in the property industry, having specialised in the valuation of institutional grade shopping centres and commercial Melbourne CBD assets.

Prior to joining Gibb Group, Donald was a Managing Valuer for a national property firm providing valuation services for financial, advisory, litigation and taxation purposes. He was responsible for engaging and providing services for institutional owners, fund managers, financial lenders, high net worth privates, property developers and government authorities. In addition, Donald has been involved in numerous reviews of valuation reports and market rental disputes acting on behalf of both landlords and tenants.

As an Analyst with Gibb Group, Donald is responsible for market research, feasibility analysis and acquisition processes.

Prior to joining Gibb Group, Nicholas was a Commercial Property Manager with Investa Property Group looking after a premium and mixed use commercial real estate portfolio within the Melbourne CBD.

Nicholas was responsible for the operational, financial, and strategic aspects of these assets and delivered favourable outcomes through leasing, capital expenditure delivery and stakeholder management. Nicholas understands the importance of providing comprehensive professional services throughout the lifecycle of an asset.

At Gibb Group, Nicholas oversees the management responsibilities across the Victorian portfolio of industrial assets.

Nicholas has a Bachelor of Applied Science – BASc, Property and Valuations (Honours) from RMIT University and Cert IV in Property Services from REAA.

As a career property accounting professional, Ralph has over 20 years experience in the industry, working for companies such as Knight Frank, Savills, Westfield, Salta Properties and most recently Investa Property Group.

Ralph is experienced in many different sectors of the commercial property market including office, retail, childcare, health and industrial. With a proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, problem solving and business partnering, Ralph has a strong emphasis on training and mentoring. Ralph has a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from RMIT University.

Bringing experience from real estate firms such as CBRE and Ray White, Marian has built a robust career in property accounting working across residential, commercial, and retail portfolios. Passionate about excellence in accounting practices, she focuses on delivering precise financial insights while exceeding client expectations.

As a dedicated property accountant at Gibb Group, Marian will support the property management team by leveraging her expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making to ensure the efficient management of assets.

Hon Meng Fong

Prior to joining the Gibb Group team, Hon Meng was an Audit Manager with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Throughout his audit career in Australia and Malaysia, Hon Meng has been responsible for delivering high quality audits of financial statements to a wide range of external clients in the property development, oil and gas, and mining industries.

Hon Meng studied a Bachelor of Business and Commerce and is a qualified accountant with CPA Australia and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

As Group Finance Manager, Hon Meng is responsible for supporting all internal and external reporting requirements, accounting processes and finance operations of the business and its related entities, along with ad-hoc commercial analysis and decision support as required.

Prior to joining the Gibb Group team, Sherif was an accountant at an accounting practice in New Zealand providing accounting, taxation, and business advisory services. This role saw Sherif deliver high-quality work to a range of clients and various intermediators during client engagements.

Sherif studied a Bachelor of Commerce, Graduate Diploma (Teaching) and is an Associate Member of CPA Australia.

As Gibb Group’s Corporate Accountant, Sherif is responsible for supporting the finance team by driving the delivery of accounting and financial services to internal stakeholders and external clients. Sherif assists in the preparation and attendance of accounting, taxation, legal and statutory requirements.

Hannah has over 20 years’ experience in administration, marketing and business operations. Working predominantly in business support roles across property and media sectors, Hannah brings a wealth of office operations experience to her role at Gibb Group.

As the Office Manager for Gibb Group’s Sydney and Queensland locations, Hannah is responsible for the day-to-day running of the offices. Hannah also provides invaluable administrative support to the Senior NSW and QLD teams.

With a keen interest in all aspects of the property industry, Holly already brings diverse experience spanning property investment, legal administration, and hospitality to Gibb Group. She plays a vital part in supporting our Corporate, national project and asset management teams and is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of key initiatives.
